Rediscovering Central and Sheung Wan. This project is a collaboration between the School of Design and the Hong Kong Design Centre. The objective of this project is to design a new travel guide that focuses on the design and cultural aspects of Central and Sheung Wan. The publication was distributed among the attendee of Business of Design Week 2010 to allow both locals and visitors to discover and experience the area through a new perspective.
This is the third version of the series. In this version. We want to try something new. Not just using photography to present the areas. We try to use 3D information graphic to let people experience Central and Sheung Wan.
In the information graphics, we using isometric view to show each section of area. People can see most of the main buildings and time needed to travel from place to place. Also, they can have a general idea about the slope of the area, Together with the photography, all the information are more communicable and accessible.
